Anyone have personal experience (implementing the same thing) or technical expertise sufficient to determine if this (see below) will work? I'm replacing factory ASK amp, in frunk of 2006 Cayman with analog "Sound Package Plus") -- changing the door woofers and center channel as well. Note that I am determined to keep the dash center speaker. As the diagram shows... the proposal here, is to take the speaker level leads (currently going to the factory ASK unit), and one pair from Front , and one pair from Rear ...and run them to Front inputs of the new, Kenwood 4-ch. amp...and the remaining Front and Rear vehicle harness pairs to the Rear inputs of the Kenwood. Then, install an L-Pad in front of the bridged center channel speaker, to adjust for "fill."
