Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

First time posting here  I'm looking to upgrade my seats from the 2 way power to the full power seats. The replacement seats come out of a 986. Is this plug & play - and possible? On a side note - i heard that the full power seats can be adjusted a bit higher than the 2 way seats? Anyone know if that is true. My wife is 5' and has issues seeing over the cluster. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49ztXTTpGGo Greetings and welcome to the forum. This video explains the process for wiring the full power seats into a harness designed for a two-way power seat. If you are not handy with electrical work, a good mechanic may be able to follow the video for guidance on performing the work. I have not done this myself so I cannot guarantee the results. I also don't know the answer to your question about the height adjustment. It certainly would be easier to adjust the seats with the power option.

Ah - thank you! This is exactly what I need.
