Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've used their services before and have a good relationship with their team.
Leading evidence: 'Use their services' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend remap company' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Anyone know or can recommend a remap company near Sunderland?

Chris started by putting the car on their Mustang Dyno and taking a few run readings.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Before I start I'd just like to say that all Dyno runs and remaps are open to interpretation, what you see here are just my results and opinions...
On Saturday I took a trip down to Regal Autosport (
www.regal-auto.com
) in Southampton. I've used their services before and have a good relationship with their team. Together with Design911 they run a car in the Carrera Cup and so know a thing or 2 about tuning. Anyway, I had wanted a remap to tie in the EVOMS CAI, revised intake plenum and Manthey exhaust and to see exactly, if anything, what these could do for torque/ power etc.
Chris started by putting the car on their Mustang Dyno and taking a few run readings. Whilst he was doing this the cars pre-map ECU data was sent off to get reconfigured together with a description of current engine/ exhaust/ intake modifications. Once the new ECU data had been sent back he reprogrammed and did further 'after' dyno runs. He explained that the new map would improve throttle response, increase torque across the rev range and give a higher power output slightly lower down the rev range.
The dyno results you can see in the attached photos (scanner at work is bust). The real proof though is in the drive. The throttle is certainly a lot more 'alive', took me awhile to get used to pulling away but once going you can really feel it. The added torque makes a hell of a difference too. Maybe it's all in my mind but my 'butt dyno' is very happy
All in all I'm very happy. No doubt there will be questions regarding ambient temps and fans and multiple runs etc etc but the before and after results/ driving comparison shows me something has been improved...
Before:
329.8 BHP, 269.5 lb/ft
After:
348.5 BHP, 291.5 lb/ft
Slightly higher than stock on the 'before' due to the CAI and plenum with no map. Oh, and Shell V-Power... :thumb:
True, but no idea just how 'accurate' these readings are. Dyno results are subject to alot of debate. All I know is the performance has noticably improved.
It doesn't really matter, as you are comparing apples with apples. 18bhp is a respectable gain, and about the most you could expect IMO. The only depressing thing is when you do the £/bhp calculation.
Good result though. :thumb:
Give Ciaron a call at North East Technic. Don't know if they are any good as they have only recently set up. They are in Middlesbrough.

you do know that all Dyno runs and remaps are open to interpretation
and £26.47/bhp is a bargain compared to the K410 GT3 Manthey route..... just move the decimal point one to the right for the magic at today's exchange rates :bandit:
Excellent stuff m8, getting this done myself next month, figures look very impressive, i'll be happy with half that gain
and i don't think i've ever seen your car dirty before
