Ok, so I have searched and found a lot of varying opinions but not much consistency. I have a nicely modified 987 Cayman S . One of those modifications is the GT3 master cylinder. I came across a set of 6-pot calipers off a 997 GT3 and would love to fit them on the Cayman . Are there adapter kits to get them to fit the uprights? Do I have to do all new uprights? Basically, what is an option that knowingly works to fit the 6-pot calipers to the 987 that did not come with ceramics? TIA.

I really doubt these will work. I’m gonna be doing the big brake upgrade ( suncoast ) on my 981 and have been doing a little research of my own. First, the 911 has a totally different knuckle (where the calipers mount) and no doubt! the GT3 will have as well. Whether the calipers will fit the 987 knuckle is doubtful, but a quick look at an online parts lookup from like Gaudin or Sunset should help you narrow it down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
