Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

...and 4 warning lights will not go out including psm light. Serious question...Car parked next to a block of flats. If battery volts drops below a certain level, will the alarm go off. I may get lynched if it happens after midnight. Many thanks Dave

POST 2Original post

the alarm will go off you can disable it by quickly double clicking the close button on the remote. If there's enough voltage to close the doors. That will lock but disable the alarm if you trust it being left locked but not alarmed.

POST 3Original post

if you're had the current battery for at least 3 years worth getting a new Bosch Silver, which are only about £75'ish

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

...thanks chapa. The double click trick worth knowing. Battery replaced by OPC a year ago but unlike your price it was £110 for battery and £90 for the acid. Methinks alternator not putting out enough charge. Cheers Dave

POST 5Original post

Double-locking will only disable the interior monitoring sensor - it won't disable the whole system.
