If I didn't park in a garage every night, I might have thought it was frozen, but I have used my wifes car this last week due to the snow, so I have not had water anywhere near the bonnet for a while.

It is always worrying when any lights on the dash come on while driving, and this morning I was treated to the red bonnet open one. I quickly pulled into the services and indeed the bonnet had not shut properly. Just I firm push and all back to normal I thought, but she wasn't having any of it. I pulled the release a few times, and could see the release catch moving, then dropped the hood, but it would not catch closed. :? The rest of my trip to work was an even more gingerly drive. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it? or got any suggestions. From the lack of replies I guess no one else has ever had this. It turned out to just requireadjusting, as over the months the catch mecanism had moved down not allowing the bonet to engage. While searching for suggestions I found the following guide to adjusting, removing and alternative problems. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=5619
