Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone got experience of fitting Hankook Ventus Sport K104 Tyres (285/30/18 on a 996? What was the wear like? :?:

POST 2Original post

I don't know about the 996, but my brother has them on his Cayenne Turbo. He used to have Contis, which it used to eat, but the Hankooks have lasted at least twice as long, and still have plenty of life left. I have Yokohama Advan Sport V103s on mine, and so far am impressed. I've only done 1000 miles with them, but they seem to be holding up well. They aren't cheap though - almost as expensive as Michelins.

POST 3Original post

Don't know how they are on a Porsche, but I had them fitted on my last car, M3 E46 2004, and wear was good, but the tires were really poor, removed them and fitted Conti. Definitely not a tire I would recommend for a high performance car.
