Now I generally use disabled parks, they're great and offer uninterrupted parking with loads of space, hence minimizing any chance of dings, etc from other cars parking tightly by.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

There is a disabled driver using a highly EVOMS tweaked 996 Turbo by Regal in Southampton. Think he's a proper petrol head that had an unfortunate accident on a bike hence the very rapid Turbo now... :thumb:
Let me tell you a little story... Now I generally use disabled parks, they're great and offer uninterrupted parking with loads of space, hence minimizing any chance of dings, etc from other cars parking tightly by. Now I'm not advocating using disabled car parks when you shouldn't... but, needs must...
Okay so the story, about 5 years ago when I was in town I came across a Parking Warden who told me a wee tale that had happened to him the week before. He had said he was out doing his rounds and a member of the public and rushed up to him, disgusted that some plonker had parked a really nice looking Porsche 911 in a disabled car park. So both the parking warden and the member of public went back to where the Porsche was parked. They then hid behind the corner of a building stalking the driver, waiting for him to exit the car so he could be ticketed... After a few moments the driver emerged complete with wheelchair. At which point as the Warden tells me, both he and the member of the public looked at each other in bewildered amazement, and happily went on their way.
See it just goes to show... you can never tell...
Oh and by the way, this is a true story... how do I know because the chap they're talking about is me, and the Porsche is my silver 993 Cab... And the Turbo above... that's mine as well

New Zealands great... sitting here in the office in a T-Shirt with the outside door open, it's a little overcast and drizzley today with a high of about 23 degrees. I'm down on the east coast of the North Island in the Wine Country, about 5 hours drive from Auckland.

My late brother was paraplegic. Nothing as fancy as a Porsche, but he was bl**dy quick in his tweaked Mk2 Cortina GT. Remember those? Lowered, with Minilites an Super Oscars on the front, he also got the same reaction returning to the car park on occasions.
Yes, do remember the Mk2 Cortina's, although it was a little before my time. Good on your brother for having fun... you know lifes to short to bugga around... if you have the opportuity to live your dreams I say do it... have no regrets, and enjoy what we're given and the time you have...
Yes, still have it. It's been a fantastic car and a great first Porsche to own. At the time of getting it I was tossing up between a 964 and a 993... I'm please I went with the 993 as I have not regretted one single day of owning it.
