I am looking for a set of pedals that I (size 9 shoe) can use for H/T with leaving my heel on the floorboard and rollover the side of my foot onto the throttle.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 4Original post

I have to say that I have been a bit surprised and disappointed in the pedal placement on my CS. It seems that I have to really move my foot around and away from the normal comfortable driving position in order to skew it into position to heal/toe. In contrast, my wifes Mazda RX-8 seems to have perfect pedal placement. When you depress the brake pedal it ends up being precisely in the same plane with the gas pedal, with just a very small gap between the two. One can press the brake normally with the foot full on the brake pedal, and then a slight roll of the angle to the right blips the throttle. My old Mazda Miata had the same perfect pedal placement (and they both have the best shifters that I have ever encountered). In contrast, on the CS, when I press the brake, the gas pedal is still an inch or two further down, and so it is impossible to simply roll the foot over and contact the gas. Rather, I have to pick my foot up and move my heel over in front of the gas (away from the normal position half way between gas and brake) so that I can then twist my toe to the left, towards the brake pedal and across the bottom of the gas pedal. Then I can press the brake and roll my foot (albeit a big roll) so as to contact the lower part of the gas pedal. It all takes a lot of thought and a lot of movement. Sorry if this has been discussed at length before. I saw the post and I couldn't help jumping in.
