Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

It's not overpriced either - just a nice car at a fair price (but with the worry of a potential IMS / cylinder wall failure that goes with the territory of a low mileage, occasional use 3.4 engine).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I saw this today if anyone's interested: http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C134185/ Surely it must be a good deal for someone right? Or am I missing something?

POST 2Original post

no you are right, looks very tidy, always thought mk1/pre-facelift gt3 kit looks the dogs danglies... good colour tastefull interior, apparent good history, whats not to like? the dealer seems to want to get it off his hands given from the sales text...

POST 3Original post

Looks nice enough, but it's not exactly cheap (IMO)... It's not overpriced either - just a nice car at a fair price (but with the worry of a potential IMS / cylinder wall failure that goes with the territory of a low mileage, occasional use 3.4 engine). Well worth a look, but only after factoring in the cost of a decent warranty or the initial cost of getting it on the Hartech / RSJ maintenance plan.

POST 4Original post

Looks a good car but it's definitely priced ok, about a fair price, as suggested. Last year I bought a 1999 C2 with 60,000 miles for £15,000. The only stipulation I would advise is to insist on a pre purchase inspection at the local Porsch dealer - usually less than £200.
