depends what tyres you are after: I would initially check online with www.camskill.co.uk and www.mytyres.co.uk as they are pretty much the cheapest for supply only. then just phone a few local places for fitting/ balancing, should be about £5-10per wheel. if you are ordering 4 then some places will sort you out a deal. where are you? people usually will chip in with a suggestion if they know someone close to you who is good...

It will depend on the brand of tyre you're looking for, deals will vary and I'd recommend comparing the following. I've always been able to better the online deals at Blackcircles, MyTyres and Event-Tyres. Kwik-Fit are worth a call but have in mind a price you want to pay as they'll start with a ridiculous quote, as soon as you say no thanks they'll generally offer to beat your best quote. I used ATS last time around when I needed 2 new Michelin rears and needed something quick in the North East, they had a 30% off deal and worked out most competitive. My preferred place to go is a small family tyre place at the bottom of my road in Sheffield. Car enthusiasts who take extra care with the rims and have a set margin which means only one quote and always worked out cheapest. So worth ringing round some of the smaller places who have a lot less overheads.
