Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Don't forget that a quick tweak to the binnacle reset will toggle mph to kph (AFAIK 2+ secs twist)

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

...how many digits does it have? (he asks, sheepishly).
I'm just asking because at the weekend
I was driving down my very long private driveway
(ahem), and I noticed that it suddenly said I was travelling at 04mph. Which I found odd as it felt like I was moving considerably faster than that...
Hmm... it did seem a little odd. That said I looked at the display carefully (seriously, when I was stationary), and it looked like there might be room for a third digit, but that it could only display a number 1 if anything (if you see what I mean - there weren't enough lines to display any other number, e.g. a 2).
Although it was dark and I could be mistaken...
Nope. In Germany. (This was a very clear, empty stretch of derestricted autobahn and no fluffy bunnies or kittens were killed while doing it)
I couldn't get the GPS speedo to begin with a 2 though. At this level there was a 5% discrepancy between the digital speedo and the recorded GPS speed.
Don't forget that a quick tweak to the binnacle reset will toggle mph to kph (AFAIK 2+ secs twist)
So you could quite legally see 100 Ks or a tracked 300 Ks.
Either way, the front digit needs to work!
PS - when I read the the first line I thought you might have meant a FOURTH digit!
"eh, does he think his Pork can break the speed of sound!"
