Suggestion
I find the rearmost underpanel was damaged from both sides (check the pic), The right side is just a cut and can be easily repaired, The left side is mostly destroyed (will try to get an actual pic soon).

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
Planet-9: 1 discussions
0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I really hope someone out there can help with this... The story goes like this:
Just yesterday, I was backing off a street that I found to be a dead-end, I didnt notice that there was an abrupt elevation change (i.e. drop) between the street I'm in and the one I was backing off too. Long story short, BANG! I drive straight to a service station, check the underside of the car... I find the rearmost underpanel was damaged from both sides (check the pic), The right side is just a cut and can be easily repaired, The left side is mostly destroyed (will try to get an actual pic soon).
Now what Do you think I should do?
Option 1:Should I attempt to repair it? And if so, would it be ok? Repair suggestions?
Option 2: Should I buy a new one? If so, does someone know what's the part-number? Cost?
Thanks a lot.

1. lacking confidence in one's own ability, worth, or fitness; timid; shy.
2. restrained or reserved in manner, conduct, etc.
3. Archaic. distrustful.
Origin:
1425–75; late ME < L diffīdent- (s. of diffīdēns mistrusting, despairing prp. of diffīdere), equiv. to dif- dif- + fīd- trust + -ent- -ent
(Maybe 'Definately'?)
... (diffidently posted)...
You should definitely change it ... defiantly.
I would, I think. Of course, the first time I cracked a black plastic air dam in front of a rear wheel, I bought a new one. The second time... I used some black repair glue. Looks OK. (First time was a curb, second time a rock from a rock slide).

1) Model I481=987 331 161 02
2) Model I249=987 331 161 01
3) Model I480=987 331 161 00
i got model I249 because i have a 2006 tiptronic.
You should also take a very careful look at what's hidden underneath that panel... there's a lot of stuff under there, and an impact like that may have bent something under there.
