I cleaned the MAF and codes and they stayed away for one whole day but now the light came back on, although the car still runs smoothly.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was doing some diagnosis with a Durametric to solve my Engine light issue. Getting codes P1126 and P1133. In doing so I was looking at the o2 sensor resistance before and after the cats while idling. 3 of them read 0 and one on bank 2 after the cat read 64. Do they have to heat up for a while before giving a reading other than 0 or does the one with 64 mean there is an issue with that sensor? I cleaned the MAF and codes and they stayed away for one whole day but now the light came back on, although the car still runs smoothly. I did replace the before cat sensors a year ago.

From a thread you made. If it's not your O2 sensors, then it's most likely your MAF sensor. Fault code 1126 & 1133 - 986 Series (Boxster, Boxster S) - RennTech.org Forums
