This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry if this is a very stupid question, but can you "de-turbo" a turbo? I'm thinking of going to see a 930 – the seller tells me he removed both turbo chargers and is running the car "stock". Is this possible, will it have damaged the engine, and can it be reinstated? He tells me he still has all the original parts. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Why would anyone want to do that? Yes they could be reinstalled, but I would be looking to spend my money on something that hadn't been messed about with.

Google [bot] said: Wat? It's a scam. Yeah - that's my (big) worry. Without taking it to pieces, how can you tell if its' real?

POST 6Original post

I'm not sure what's going on here but who considers a 930 and doesn't even know how many turbos it has? Or should have. Or used to have.
