I am in a similar situation. I bought my 987.1 Cayman S 3 years ago. My CPO warranty was good for 3 years, so I figured I'd keep it 3 years then upgrade to a 987.2, 981, 911 or Turbo the 987.1. 2 years later, I decided to add some bolt ons (Borla, Plenum & flash) and after feeling how ferocious my Cayman could be I decided I might keep it past the warranty. Fast forward another year to now, and my CPO warranty just ended and perfect timing TPC had a sale on their Stage 2 turbos, so I said what the hell and took the plunge. But the whole time I keep questioning my decision, should I have just traded it in on a 991. I really could use the backseat since in the past year I had another kid, and could use the 2 backseats for 2 child seats! Also I would like to upgrade to a PDK car. I'm hoping the TPC turbo will keep me happy another 2-3 years, then I'll reconsider my options again!! Or maybe I'll get the itch before then!
