Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Pre-PPI - I guess...
Same old story I'm 2,100 miles away and the pictures look great, but I've already nixed 2 cars after spending close to $300 each for PPI's. I know that's why you get them, but it still smarts in the wallet. All I'm after is a visit to the dealer, a thorough walk around and look underneath for leaks, cupped tires - obvious stuff. Ideally a test drive. I could make a checklist and you can do any or all. I just want to get a better feel before I have them take it in for a formal PPI.
So if you have a spare afternoon and want to test drive a '04 996, I'd be eternally grateful.

Hey there Kurt! Long time no see my friend. Hope all is well. Darin DeYoung at DeYoung motors in Prescott is a first class Porsche wrench with a great shop. Not a cheap date but who wants that so much anyway when you're talking cars like our 996 Turbos? PPI's are a must and a competent one worth every penny.
Donny
Hey Donny! Darin is a great guy, he did a little work on my car before I found Jay.
Please give a heads up the next time there is a Porsches-to-Prescott, I'd like to make it up.
