Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Giving Daz and Bluesatin a lift would probably achieve the effect you are after. Sorry guys!!! If dmsims is about, he will probably have a more technical reply. Maybe email his profile directly if he doesn't spot the thread.

Someone call the moderator to control the moderator please!!!

POST 3Original post

I think there is about 3/4 of an inch or so of adjustment via the eccentric bolts on the rear trailing arms. Any more than that and you will have to reset the arms on the torsion bars. Have a look at: http://64.226.197.185/Paragon/Tech/944_rrha.htm >> Edited by Basil Brush on Tuesday 21st January 14:05

POST 5Original post

I'm pretty sure you can get stiffer torsions from Automotion in the states, to match the harder lowered front springs.

POST 6Original post

Or you could go for the 968 M030 coil over rears with helpers.

POST 7Original post

Late as usual! Have a gander at the suspension section on my website www.944turbo.org.uk

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am looking to lower my 944 by 30 mm No problem on the front with lowering springs etc, but how would i go about lowering the rear????

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
