Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Is anyone aware of a back to back test of the exhaust headers from Boxster and Cayman ? I picked up a complete exhaust system from a local Cayman owner who had fitted a full Soul system and noticed the very different design of his header and mine (05 BS 3.2l) Just from looking at the two I would have thought the Boxster headers would flow better and the way the gases are fed towards the cat look better too.

POST 2Original post

Sorry but don't know the answer to your question.. IMHO, but I would choose the ones on the bottom picture..

POST 3Original post

Checking the respective PET catalogs, there are several part numbers listed for 2005 Boxsters (both M96 and M97 engines). Looks like Boxsters and Caymans with the M97 engines have the same manifold part numbers. But there is a revision listed for 2007 Cayman . Ex 987.113.108.03 and 987.113.108.05
