Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If your AVMPG is floating around 21 it means you have a heavy foot or more than likely the MAFS is coming to the end of it's working life.

It is amazing how good these cars are and you're right I didn't buy it for the economy but was just curious what distances between fill ups people are getting.

Nice car by the way I really like the wide body look I have a facelift C2 cab which I look but I just think the sides look a lil bland I loved the shape of the 993 I test drove 4 but could not convince myself over the 996 facelift but still love the looks of a lowered 993 on 18" rims

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

OK mine is a 997 manual but as an indicator I do around 230-250 miles in normal mixed driving and up to 350 in motorway driving. (that is always with a bit of fuel to spare)
Theo
My daily commute consists of a bit of traffic, sometimes a lot of traffic, all A roads, very up, down & bendy and my AVMPG sits at about 23.6
This means 230 - 250 per £60 fill up

Also, if yours supports fly-by-wire (2000 onwards) then remember to re-adapt the throttle body often.
Reading on I notice yours is the C4S this means the TB will need re-adapting regulary.
Simple task:
Turn on ignition until all lights appear on dash (do not touch pedals)
Leave like that for 60 seconds (you will hear a buzzing noise at the rear after a few seconds of this, that will be the TB flap adapting to pedal TPS)
60 secs up, switch the ignition to 'OFF' but do not remove the key.
Wait 10 more seconds in 'OFF' position
Now start car

This can make the world of difference
240-280 miles subject on mixed spirited driving
although motorway driving would be circa 350
but have done 400-450miles on motorway driving based on slower paces
Thanks for the comments... Particularly re the throttle body - will run through this tomorrow.
I collected it yesterday and have just come back from taking the missus out for the day to Whitby (who says romance is dead!)... Was a great excuse to go for a blatant accross the north York moors! Have managed 280 miles from my first tank which isn't too bad.
All I can say tlis that I think I've found my perfect car... And I've had a lot!
I love the way I can shift up/down with the ball of my thumbs. I love the stability and reassurance of 4WD. I love how easy it is to left foot brake. I love the way it looks both inside and out. Most of all I LOVE the PSE.. gurgle, gurgle, warble...
Will post pics tomorrow. :thumb:
