Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The volt gauge is not acting funny so I will check my brake light to see if they're working and take it from there.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Took my 02 turbo out for a drive today, finally having some decent weather. Pulled on to the highway and opened it up a bit, almost immediately after hitting a little speed both the ABS and PSM failure lights come on? I pulled over and shut the car down, waited a minute and started it back up... no lights? Anybody else have this experience or care to share what may have caused it? Thanks, Mike

POST 2Original post

ABS and PSM MIL lights are a common feature of low voltage excursions on the charging system.

POST 3Original post

My Boxster did that also. Bad brake light switch.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys, I did a bit more research and have identified a few possible culprits... MAF sensor, brake switch and maybe voltage regulator and or alternator. I will try and identify when it happens if it happens again which I suspect it will. The volt gauge is not acting funny so I will check my brake light to see if they're working and take it from there. Stay well guys, Mike
