Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Set date' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Set date' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Several of us GTS owners have spoken about a get together so I thought I would start a thread to gauge interest and try (thankless task) to sort out a location and date that suits the majority of those interested.
I'm in East Anglia and happy to travel. We could arrange a weekend, at a reasonably price hotel, or just a day?
Put down your thoughts and lets see where it takes us..
Well done Bud.
I live in Warwickshire.
Options:
1) Silverstone, Porsche Exp center, just going there and take the parking at the entrance? I hope they would appreciate. Or we could call them to ask what if.....
2) Sunday breakfast/brunch in a pub in the middle of the countryside with a lot of park space (could propose a couple of place)
I would prefer a one day event to begin with (no night overstay)
Not a gts owner but wouldn't mind dusting the cobwebs off the Spyder if that's okay. Could get a couple of friends who also have 997 gts to tag along as well.

+1
If you don't mind slumming it with non-GTS Boxsters in 986-987-981 guise then there are around 11 of us meeting for breakfast this Sunday at Fairokas Airport, Chobham

I'm in central London, wouldn't mind a drive up to Silverstone PEC - great idea.. Would deffo prefer a one day thing to start with though.
Let's set a date?

No problem for me. Your more than welcome...
Time wise/weather is no issue for me but we may get a better turn out if would looked for a spring date?
We could head for PEC or arrange to meet at a friendly OPC? Then head off for lunch? Not sure a drive with so many would work?
Will be great to meet everyone....

No problem. If you're local keep an eye on boxa as we tend to meet locally at least every other month if not monthly.
Adding my thanks too edc, will also keep a lookout on boxa - am Guildford based, so that meet is very close to me, unfortunately off in the other direction towards the coast this Sunday :/
Also up for any local(ish) PH meets too

How about Sunday March 15 in the Chilterns? we could meet at
H Cafe
Oxford Road
Dorchester
Wallingford, Oxfordshire OX10 7LY, United Kingdom
Took a drive up to there from London last weekend, and it was a corker. Great roads! Had lunch a a fantastic pub called the vine and Spice nearby. It seems to be quite easy access for the majority of posters here?
Yeah, should be ok for 15-20 cars at a stretch. Decent place to start/finish a drive. We could/should let them know of our intentions once we've got numbers clearer.
Should be fine for me.
Will be driving from north (midlands), if anybody from there want to meet up in Banbury or even Leamington to form a convoy let me know.
Not wanting to hijack this thread but since this GTS only meet hasn't got off the ground I have organised a lunch meet in the Surrey area for 29th March. Details on boxa.net There are also a few other Boxster focussed meets/drives on there too in the Midlands and further North.
Sounds a good idea!
Like said before-any reason for a blast out!
In the Loughborough area, anyone else local-ish wanting to catch up, then please let me know.
Cayman GTS-White

I'm not familiar with the details of the other meets as I'm not going to them (out of my area).
Anyone fancy a day off to evo triangle?
http://www.greatestdrivingroads.com/great_roads/Th...
Either 5th or 6th of April.
I am seriously plannning to go there for a proper driving day.

Where in the Midlands will you be coming from?
There's a lot of nice roads in the area. To spend all that time getting there and doing only a short loop for an hour seems a bit of a missed opportunity?

Had a quick look for you.
29th March for North and South
12th April for Midlands.
12 April BoXa.net meeting now with 15 cars confirmed...room for more if anyone fancies it. Do please register and confirm on the BoXa thread if you are coming though. I think most of us are PHers anyway...

Would love to join you gents, but its the wrong side of the map for me, 4hrs from surrey to the farm shop
So will have to pass, but considering a trip to south wales instead to chew off the beacons (weather providing)

RBT0 - unfortunately looks like I'm going to have to bail on the Evo Triangle trip, for Monday.
I hope others might still join - or that we can get another meet some other time.
