I was thinking about getting the Fabspeed Cold Air Airbox Upgrade/Enhancement Kit, but wanted to know if using that voided the car's warranty?

Won't void the warranty but if your check engine light comes on and its due to the MAF sensor you may have an issue. Mine lit up under my extended warranty (had to pay the deductible)and they said it was my MAF sensor and was most likely due to the modified airbox. Something about airflow change across the sensor was altered and just out of the perameters. They changed the sensor and told me to try it but if the check engine light came on again to change back to the stock airbox before I bring it back in. So far its been 3 months with no light and I've not gone back to stock.

Wow, I had the same experience, but it was not the increased air flow. Rather a pesky psuedo carbon fiber ring designed to replace a stock plastic screen. It sliped in on top of the air filter and caused a check engine light. I put the stock screen back in and removed the pseudo carbon ring supplied with the Fabspeed kit and never had another check engine light.
