Yes the coffin arm.I have had it replaced now but as i said thank god it was noticed before something happend.I dont think it would be a very pleasant experiance.

hi i am wondering if anyone knows if there was a recall on my 03 carerra c4s. the car was up on a ramp at my local garage have its milltek system fitted and the mechanic says he noticed the o/s/r lower had a crack in it,I went and had a look and my god he was right its nearly cracked right through.i woundered if anyone else has had this problem or if was a careless moment the previous owner had with a kirb or pothole.I sure am glad its been noticed before it snapped going round a corner. :?:

Shocking, good job you found it before hand. No recalls on lower arms that I know to but Richard H would be the one to PM, is it the coffin are or one of the other tracking arms? Sounds like a dodgy cast or an obvious impact damage.
