Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Only problem is a squeak from right area of dashboard around right air vent - when I press against the grill, the squeak disappears.

I popped in to see the car while on a business trip and had prearranged a test drive.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi,
Thought I would let everyone know, I picked up my new 03 C2 Coupe last Saturday - Arctic Silver/Black 6 speed with PSM, Bose, Turbo Look II (Michelin Pilot Sports), Xenon, Heated Seats, M030. The car is fabulous.
Thanks to everyone on the board who helped with my questions.
I got it at Carousel Porsche in Minneapolis and dealt with Jason Boers of the Audi group (my phone call got misrouted to him, but he looked after my inquiry). Jason was great to deal with, and after talking to a bunch of dealers and visiting several, I can pay nothing but the highest compliment to his professionalism and attention to detail. I recommend him and this dealership highly to any Porsche or Audi purchasers.
I popped in to see the car while on a business trip and had prearranged a test drive. The car had been on the showroom floor - he had it ready to go, warmed up, tire pressures checked, etc. I signed the purchase order about 2 weeks later, then picked up the car another 2 weeks after that.
Jason addressed several of my concerns/questions about wheels, detailing, and other issues I had learnt about from the board. I ordered a Valentine shipped to him, and he had an installer (whom I spoke to beforehand) put it in. On pick up the car looked beautiful and flawless (e.g. no swirl marks on paintwork).
On the orientation drive I was playing around with the computer, and discovered an undocumented feature which I will pursue in a separate post.
I drove from Minneapolis to Milwaukee in a 5hr leg, got an average of about 26mpg. I overnited there, then drove to DC with 1 stop for gas somewhere in eastern Indiana. Refilled in Frederick, MD - again average fuel economy around 26-27mpg. Only real congestion was passing thru Chicago around lunchtime on Sunday.
Valentine worked great (remote display was put in shelf below CD tray), and I got the car up to 95mph a few times, following break in directions (12xx miles now).
At first I found the ride very hard, but it has softened up a touch. Tyre roar is very high but I think some of this is tire related.
Only problem is a squeak from right area of dashboard around right air vent - when I press against the grill, the squeak disappears.
Any other tips welcomed. I still have not dared to venture it into public parking areas... still a little nervous about that!
I will post photos shortly.
Regards,
winovin
