Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Finding Vessel Name?
Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I don't think I ever asked about this, but if your car is showing up as on vessel, how do you find out the vessel name? I looked at my order in my dealership's computer and there is no listing of the vessel name on my order or other orders that show on vessel. Is there someplace else the dealership should be looking to get the vessel name or do they have to call someone in Germany, etc?

POST 2Original post

Good question. My dealer doesn't know either. By the way does your question mean your car which has a Vin later than mine is 'ONVESL'? That would be good news for both of us I suppose although I don't which port serves New Mexico.

POST 3Original post

K-ManS; salesman told me the sales manager gets the documents showing which ship which cars are on and shipping information. I was told that was why he couldn't give me that info until the boss was in the office. Don't know how true but worth checking with the sales manager to see if he knows.

POST 4Original post

I was at my dealer yesterday. The sales manager had the info on mine. It was built 12/12, puton a ship 12/21, and is due into San Diego about Jan. 13th. He said 10 days to 2 weeks after that the carshould be ready. Don't have the VIN though. SF, I would think your car would be coming in to San Diego. Edited by - AzCayman on 12/28/2005 12:55:19 PM

K-Man, Mine was the same as Chuck, my dealer had a document with the vessels name. Russ

POST 6Original post

AZCayman, How cool, my car's on the same boat. My dealer said it docks on the 13th and then takes about a week to be at the dealership in Mill Valley, Ca. Ken

POST 7Original post

kjames & AZ, Your cars must be on one of these two vessels, the Celestial Wing docking SD on 1/11 or the Jasper Arrow docking SD on 1/12. Did you get the name of the vessel from your dealer? There is also the Rainbow Wing docking SD on the 10th. All three of these are carrying autos. Russ

POST 8Original post

I've been trying to convince the wife to cruise down to the Panama Canal and see if we can get a glimpse since that is the route the ship is taking...... All she says is 'DREAM ON!!!!'
