Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Disconnect of the pss9 connectors and each' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'listed' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Disconnect of the pss9 connectors and each' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I have read through every PASM failure thread and it does not appear my problem is listed. My 2007 Cayman S with Bilstein PSS9's is in constant PASM failure and locked in stiff mode. I have had it to the dealer and the PIWIS is giving fault codes of low voltage issues in an around the PASM control module. They have tried a new PASM control module and immediately the failure returned. They have confirmed that 12 volts is going into the module but only 10 volts or sometimes 8 volts or sometimes 12 volts comes out. The problem of voltage seems to be a moving issues. they have disconnected all of the PSS9 connectors and each test correctly and are well seated. The next step is to pin out each of the connectors leading out of the PASM control Unit but that will take a lot of time. Does anyone have any other suggestings? I have looked at tire presuures and they read fine, 3-4 pounds higher than my longacre guage but fine for street driving. Thanks in advance for any help,

POST 2Original post

I had a similar issue while putting in wire taps into the ECU and I kept scratching my head as well. After thinking and going over the wiring in my head few hundred times, I figured it was a grounding issue; and once I properly grounded the installation, all turned normal. So, you may have a bad ground, an electrical leak of some sort.
