Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a PCM fitted to my '03 C4S. Can't really use the navigation system where I live (no disc written for Cayman or likely to be so). So has anyone managed to find a way to get DVD's to play through the PCM screen ? My kids would just love it and going to school for them (and me) would be a whole new experience.

POST 2Original post

Cayman Islands Nice but a bit small and lacking in terms of roads eh ?
quote:
Originally posted by Vysie: I have a PCM fitted to my '03 C4S. I've seen this, but haven't contacted them. It does mention Porsche. http://www.nav-tv.com/products-dealer-universal.htm

POST 4Original post

Damn, and I thought I was frustrated driving my p-car in NYC!! Is there anywhere you can even open it up a little?? I don't think that the nav sys dvd player will play a convention DVD, but I think you can buy an aftermarket player and possibly connect it to the screen. Search the board for aftermarket stereo guys, and give one of them a call. I'm sure they know how to do it.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the replies. Cayman sure is small but there are parts of the Island where you can get some serious speed up, but who said 0-40 and taking roundabouts at speed can't be fun. At the end of the day its how you drive the car that counts !

POST 6Original post

For me, at the end of the day on the Cayman's, I was typically nicely intoxicated sitting in a hammock at Rum Point... Hate to say it but I was probably thinking "What Porsche?" :-) Maybe next time I'm there you can get Soto's to have a P-car for me to rent instead of those god awful Jeeps they rent!
