Suggestion

The levers are easy enough to replace but you will probably need to remove the seat to get good access to the three allen bolts, I certainly did.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 3Original post

There are 4 listed on the pet but the description is vague. They are obviously for right/lefthand drive and bonnet/boot release. Not sure which is which, sorry. 996 551 511 03 LL/V 996 551 512 05 LL/H 996 551 511 04 RL/V 996 511 512 06 RL/H Have an old copy of 911 & P world that showed how to replace them and they give the part numbers as 996 551 511 08 for the front lever 996 551 512 08 for the rear lever Hope this helps TB

POST 8Original post

The levers are easy enough to replace but you will probably need to remove the seat to get good access to the three allen bolts, I certainly did. I'm in the process of refurbing my levers at the moment, but I quite enjoy little paint jobs like this. The little bonnet and boot decals are available on ebay if anyone chooses to repair rather than replace.
