Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

I found out I could switch to about 3 different FM stations by using the scan feature, and when I switched to AM I could pull up stored stations and change channels by using the scan button.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Last Sunday night after attending the local PCA year-end meeting and dinner, as I left out the radio in my CS began to act up. It would not change stations, none of the buttons would call up the stored stations. I found out I could switch to about 3 different FM stations by using the scan feature, and when I switched to AM I could pull up stored stations and change channels by using the scan button. This happened once before 4-5 years ago, and I recalled it healed itself after a time. I gave it a day or two and nothing changed, so yesterday I pulled the ground cable off the battery and left it off about 5 minutes, then put it back on and everything is fine now. The stored locations are still "remembered" and it works as it should. Weird. As I'm selling this to get a new GTS, I thought this was great timing, but it is just some electronic gremlin that manifests itself once every few years apparently.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
