Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My wipers look like they should sit a bit lower when they're off. They're about an inch or more away from where they look like they should be from the shape of the plastic bits. I can think of three possibilities here. 1. that's normal 2. They need to be adjusted on the shafts. 3. They should move to a park position (which they don't) rather than just stopping at the end of the sweep. Any thoughts? Thanks Colin

POST 2Original post

Uh... they are on the right sides? right? The wiper blades for the driver's and passenger's side are different. The wiper blade on the driver's side is straight. On the passenger's side it is curved.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Loren Yes they are on the correct sides. The fact that the passenger side is curved as is the plastic trim piece was what made me think they should sit a bit lower otherwise the curve in the plastic isn't really doing much. I guess the question is, do they just stay where they are when they're turned off or do they drop back an inch or so into a parked position like many other cars? If not I guess I just need to adjust them a bit. If they do "park" I need to fix something. Many thanks Colin
