If you have a Tip, then you could also use the blanking grommet where the clutch cable goes on a manual.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone got ideas about the best route from the boot to the cabin? Looking to get get a couple of cables installed for the dension but wanted to route through a grommeted pre-drilled hole rather than take a drill to it myself... Any ideas????? Cheers

POST 2Original post

IIRC, there is a suitable hole high on the LHS (looking from the front) where the wires for the CD Autochanger are routed, when fitted. Take the battery cover off and you should be able to see it.

POST 3Original post

As Wattie says - just left of the battery as you look at it there is a large grommet. (Red Arrow). If you have a Tip, then you could also use the blanking grommet where the clutch cable goes on a manual. (Green Arrow).
