Eric for those of us who haven't followed this item closely can you describe what it is, how it installs, how it works, etc? Is it compatible with the Dension unit, etc. etc.

Sure, sorry about that. Here's the PR material that explains it, and YES it will work in conjunction with the Dension iPod integration unit. Pro install is recommended, it attached to the MOST bus just like the Dension would, so it mutes ALL sources for phone calls to come through. Well if you want to get me one early to do an installation feature article on I'd be happy to give it a shot, I installed my own PCM and Nav and Dension so I figure it can't be any harder than those.

I'm interested in Tooki. But I'd like to know if Dension is likely to add better BT support than their current $99 add-on. Does anyone know?

Eric, any comparison of sound quality between Tooki and Dension BTA1000? I bought the BTA1000 and it's difficult to carry on a conversation. May switch back to an ear piece.

You can expect a Gateway 500 SW update with big improvements on sound quality and on handling of BTA1000. (Then BTA1500 will add phonebook support.)

Tooki for more than phones? Can I use the bluetooth connection also for other devices than the phone? I want to connect my phone and as long as I'm not making a call I want to connect my TomTom for navigation (just the sound over the PCM) or a MP3 Player via bluetooth.
