Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a manual Boxster anniversary with clutch and IMS bearing done with 99,000 miles, are values going up as I’m trying to dete4m8ne whether to lock it away rather than use it

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I meant to say determine but typed too quickly on the iPad !🙄

POST 4Original post

Hard to imagine that locking it away would make any financial sense (i.e., if you could make 5% pa on avg., tax free, on ‘£15k’ that would be worth £24k to you in 10 years time etc.) Equally hard to imagine what restrictions there might be on ICE car usage in 2033. The answer of course is: drive it!

POST 5Original post

I've had one for 10 years. Any increase in value is offset and more by what you spend on servicing and running the car. You could not service the car in an attempt to save money but of course that itself dents your 'value'. Just drive it as you wish.

POST 6Original post

If 1958 in your name is your birth year ,drive it while you are still able to . No offence ,I'm not that far behind you .....

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ha ha , I have a BRA CV3 three wheeler which is more difficult to drive ! I’m still driving 30k a year working for myself .

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
