Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Sorry if I have missed a solution, from years ago (blame the carp search function...) but does anyone have an elegant/effective solution for the rattling seatbelt buckle which occurs when nobody is using the passenger seatbelt?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

6 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Sorry if I have missed a solution, from years ago (blame the carp search function...) but does anyone have an elegant/effective solution for the rattling seatbelt buckle which occurs when nobody is using the passenger seatbelt? Sticking a sticky rubber pad on the B-pillar trim seems terribly un-Porsche....;-)

POST 3Original post

What you need to do is place the seat belt stopper flush up against the seat belt buckle section...then retract the seatbelt tension, and glide both as far up the seatbelt length as you can: the buckle is then held tight to the gap where the seatbelt comes out of the top of where a b pillar would be. Edited by mdb55 on Sunday 19th February 00:03

POST 4Original post

I applied some sticky backed felt to the seat belt buckle. Bought some from the local craft shop and cut to size. No more rattle.

I've done this also and it has solved the issue for me too. Thank you Edited by Schuey_911 on Wednesday 22 February 08:51
