Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I notice that most maps are generic off the shelf. How good is the ECU at knock control, fuel changes, turbo changes etc. Some of the generic maps seem a bit loose in that they accommodate a range of possible mods (such as exhaust upgrades or stock). Who's gone from K16s to K16s with a 16g wheel? Is the ECU capable of learning the changes in airflow or would one need to find a map for it? Cheers, Bob

If you ever buy a Map "Off the shelf" you are being done Bob! All maps should be at the very least overwritten from your original map. Every car is different as far as maps go. I always use www.e-maps.co.uk for my maps as Simon is a very knowledgeable guy. Graham
