Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, I read numerous posts and many more signatures, and it seems most people agree with that the following mods are "essential" 1- RoW M030 Suspension 2- B&M Short Shifter 3- RUF Aluminum pedals (ok, I added this one on my own because they look cool) Can anyone think of other mods that are important?

POST 3Original post

If you order bumper plugs, order the door plug as well! The ONE thing that is essential is a hard wired Valentine One!

POST 4Original post

Modifications depend solely on whether or not you're a Performance Man , or a cosmetic Man ....or both!

POST 5Original post

Don't you dare forget the exhaust! PSE sounds really nice on these cars.

POST 6Original post

And maybe a clear bra like StoneGuard or InvincaShield. Regards, Mike

POST 7Original post

...and upgrade the wife/girlfriend to a newer, younger model while you're at it.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Jason, I have model WIFE 2.0 while not esthetically stunning it did give me BOY 1.0 so I will keep the whole package. I should have mentioned the other mods/options I have: -Aero kit -Full natural leather -PCM -18" Carrera wheels -Clear bra by 3M -Passport SRX radar detector -Smoke side markers Debating: -PSE since my car is a convertible and noisy already -19" HRE rims (will the ride be too harsh with the RoW M030?) The car is a daily driver with slight occasional track use

POST 9Original post

19" HRE is location dependent choice. I have a cab and definitely will invest in PSE, there is so much difference. Also matching center console is a must IMHO

POST 10Original post

Geez, won't the ride be too harsh w/19s and M030??

POST 11Original post

Where is the best place to get a matching center console?

POST 12Original post

Even for occassional track use the auditory input from a sports exhaust is invaluable. You just can't hear the engine with a helmet and I find the extra input really helps my rev matching, heel-toe etc...

POST 14Original post

ED996-Center console painted to match the exterior color of your car. Boca996-Try Suncoast Porsche or Foreign Affairs (Usually 20% off dealership prices). Regards, Mike

PSE is next, provided it doesn't scare off mod #3. Speaking of which...Gemballa sport mufflers are showing up on ebay--anyone heard these against the PSE??

POST 16Original post

I believe Gert Carnewal sells them www.carnewal.com Of course, there's always eBay
