Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Having said that, we can certainly put in the spacers (that’s what we used before that worked)….
Outcome qualification: Negation, uncertainty or missing explicit repair resolution overrides the raw extraction signal.

Suggestion
Any OBDII (can based) scanner can reset that light in seconds but other than running a bit richer while the light is on there’s nothing other than the information that it’s telling you….
Leading evidence: 'Use before' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run bit richer while the light is' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Have any of you who run the full Milltek system (Headers, Cats, Muffler) had any issues with the codes?

Teh only other alternative is to program your ECU to ignore the second O2 sensor value but then that actually makes your car illegal for street use by the letter of the law in the U.S.

Yes the german CS has no second 02 sensor so not CE light, bob, can you describe what you mean by using the spacers to prevent the CE light on the previous headers?
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Codes, what do you mean by codes? If you mean check engine light because of the pre-cat warm-up sequence in the ECU seeing a value it doesnt' like from the exhaust gases then yeah I get those once a month or so in cold weather. A $50 code reader/clearer from your local auto parts store will make it go away. Teh only other alternative is to program your ECU to ignore the second O2 sensor value but then that actually makes your car illegal for street use by the letter of the law in the U.S.
I am mainly referring to ECU error codes which might won't go away… I am using this car daily and don’t want to deal with such issues. I had a heavily modified Z06 and to many code issues. Don’t want to end up with the same problem again…
As an alternative I might just go with the muffler and skip the headers & cats for now…
Thx

gforce,
to be clear, I have a 2006 model and live in a climate with cold weather when the car is driven, thus I occassionally get a code which takes all of 30 seconds to clear with my code reader. There are some people not getting any codes at all with Milltek headers. If you get headers with no cats like Statix you will always get codes until you either get cats or kill an o2 sensor by reprogramming your ECU. I think if you get Milltek headers you "may" get an occassional code but it is easy to clear, really depends on whether or not you think you will get a code and if so how often. I suppose if it started to bother you then you could go the reprogramming route. So far I don't get them often enough to bother me.
yeah... better get the one with cats!!
no point in getting with no cats... i regret my decission...
1) less power.
2) code bothers me...
3) kinda noisy
Mine recently lit up. According to my installer (reputable guys) : this isn’t normal for the Gen2’s because they went up to a 200cell cat. Having said that, we can certainly put in the spacers (that’s what we used before that worked)…. Have had the Milltek headers and catback for 9 months. No check engine lights and I drive daily in West Texas. Gets below 20 and still no light. Love my set up w/ the complete Milltek exhaust, EVO air filter and B&M short shifter. Never drove a better car!
This is based on an answer I got from our friends at Sharkwerks. No idea what it actually means but am taking it in in a couple weeks so will have more info then. Sorry.
Code Clearing
Can someone please post a more detailed response on the "code reader" What specifically is the code reader called (brand, model) and how is it used to clear the "check engine" light. I have a full Milltek system and love the response, but after the winter got a check engine light on.
Thanks

I know Sears sells 4 or 5 brands, just go to their tools section and ask where the OBDII code readers are and find one that both reads and erases codes - most do. They range in price from $40-$150 depending on other extraneous features. I bought one in the $60 range from Innovo. You simply plug it into the OBDII port under the dash, tun the key on, press a button to read codes, press another button to erase codes and you are done - 30 seconds max.
