I understand there is a new Milltek catback about to be released. Please clarify if you can: the current sytem looks like there is a pipe running horizonally under the can; the new one looked like it does NOT have the pipe under the can. Is that correct? Any idea of release date? Thanxxx....Mike
Mojozone, can you tell me where you saw a picture of the new Milltek Cayman catback? I’m about to commit to a full system purchase but may opt for an AWE catback unless Milltek is about to change their catback design.

Sorry it's so long getting back...missed your post. I tried to find the picture I saw and I haven't found it yet... I thought it was a dealer that said something like "are you ready for the next Milltek catback - coming soon." I am hoping to put exhaust system on soon (once computer is reset). I was planning on AWE catback with Milltek header because of caymanclub talk, but that post made me step back. I hope to find it or I will contact Milltek if I can. I thought maybe Pete (above) could clear things up. I would like to avoid the pipe under the can. Strosek shows a sweet looking catback on their website but I haven't seen any dyno claims. Would like to get a 20hp bump with a system. I'll keep eyes open and check some things out. Cheers!
The Milltek v2 is a slight modification to the v1, it still has the pipes underneath the cans, which when polished look sweet in my opinion, also the tips are now adjustable via a clamp point on those pipes that run under the cans. The system is available in full polish as well, but that might be an additional charge. I have one sitting in my garage waiting to be installed after my next track event. There is yet another Milltek one coming that I "think" does away with the first resonator can on either side to give the system more volume, similar to AWE, Fabspeed, and others from a decibel standpoint but I don't know the details of that system or when it will be available, you'll have to call Pete on that. I suspect the ones that Pete got in recently are v2 systems since I don't think they make v1's anymore, again the differences between the v1 and v2 are minor, unless you order custom polishing then the v2 is a lot shinier.

Thanks K-Man and mojozone, my questions are answered. I have to deal now with an unexpected repair on my Mom's car before I can pull the trigger on the Milltek system. By that time maby Pete can give me some clues on the third gen catback.
K-Man... are you saying that the v3 Milltek will be louder?
That is my understanding but don't quote me on it, ask Milltek to be certain.
Where's can I get the best price on a v2? I don't need it installed, just best price shipped to my door. Thanks.
