Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

30 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Just installed the Techart hood badge, I love it. Just wrote an article on it. http://www.planet-9.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=114&cat=3

POST 2Original post

Did they charge you $1000 for it? I still can't believe how much they are charging for anything they make.

POST 3Original post

Congratulations!! looks damn nice on your car... apsin: the badge is not that expensive... less then $200 if i'm not wrong..

POST 4Original post

Any reimbursement to advertise them on your car?

POST 5Original post

$200 for a badge...gz...I'll keep my Porsche badge.

POST 7Original post

Sorry porsches4ed that badge doesn't do it for me. No offense, but I can't see the free advertising.

POST 8Original post

Alot of people didnt like the GT3 grill either. I like it and thats what matters to me. I like the red black and silver. Matches my car. People can never tell what kind of car I have. Now it will be more difficult to tell what kind of car it is. If I had RUF gear on my car I would also put thier badge on it. I am getting the TechArt software and intake Manifold soon.

POST 9Original post

I like the GT3 grill, just not the badge, but then I'm not a big fan of the Ruf badge either.

POST 10Original post

I think the Silver Pcar badge would look great on your car!

POST 11Original post

With your GT3 grill mod, your car looks realy sharp, & I agree with Silent Will, a silver Pca badge would look GREAT.

POST 12Original post

I'm sorry man... I love everything you've done to your car (overlooking spoiler), but I don't like that badge. Still... it's your car and you're the one who has to look at it in your garage every day, and if it appeals to you, that's all that counts. - Suneet

POST 18Original post

don't like the badge at all .... still, whatever floats your boat bud .... congrats ....

POST 19Original post

Porsche, there is no substitute. Once I had an old Dodge pickup, where the letters D O D G E on the front of the hood could have been altered to say D O G. Clever, I thought, but I didn't do it. I could never do what you have done.

POST 20Original post

I could see a RUF badge as Ruf usually does Porsche one better. Techart is more about style than substance. Aren't you the guy whose wing was askew? Why would you do these guys a solid? It's like having the Jaguar Vandenplas edition -- I wouldn't want to swap out the cat on the hood because some French cat designed the upholstery on the seats and dash. It's a Porsche with some Techart accessories not vice versa. I will reiterate what others have said, "If it makes you happy that's what counts." If you are anxious for people to not know what you are driving, though, buy a kit car. There are a lot of really cool ones that use respectable donor cars.

POST 21Original post

i like gemballa's badge more then techart, but i didn't use any gemballa... damn... btw... what tehcart software are you talkin about?

POST 22Original post

+1 I couldn't agree more. Glad you like it, but to me it seems like this last bit tipped the scales too far to over-modded direction.

POST 23Original post

That Techart s*** is WEAK Wake up and go for a Porsche silver badge. I know Bumper Plugs has one.

POST 24Original post

At the heart of this mid-engine sports car lies the increase in displacement from standard 3,387 cm³ to 3,824 cm³. The increase is facilitated by a bore enlarged to 99 millimeters with the corresponding larger special pistons, and by the installation of a special crankshaft. The engine conversion further includes sports camshafts. A modified intake manifold with special air filter system and an aluminum header provide ample combustion air. The perfect interaction of all these components including the fully stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with high-performance manifold is orchestrated by new mapping for the engine electronics. With a maximum power output of 385 hp / 283 kW and a peak torque of 407 Nm, the TECHART GTsport offers excellent performance: the sprint form 0 - 100 km/h takes just 4.9 seconds. Top speed: 285 km/h. I just like the stock labeling. The Porsche badge is just so darn pretty I could not change it.
