Hi, just checked stratmosphere website and found Exhaust $1999 and Headers+cats $2999. They said that it adds 22 hp. Is that for the exhaust alone or i have to buy the headers too. I can afford only one system, which is better? What are the advantages of these two? Thanks in advance..

To get 22 rwhp gain you need to replace both the factory headers and the catback. Headers will get you 8-10hp gain, catback 10-12, combined 21-22 rwhp. See articles section for the Milltek article.

A milltek gent. told me that if i get the headers without the exhaust, i will burn their cat thus voiding their warranty. They advised only get the cat back or both cat back and headers. (dunno if it was just sales talk..but that's what i was told)

I was quickly schooled that milltek 100 cell cat headers makes more hp than one with no cat when last i asked the same question. I have Milltek headers & exhaust - it does drone at around 3K RPM & the engine is underload. If you decide to go with a cat-less headers anyway, you have 2 options: 1 - get spark plug foulers to extend the second O2 sensors out of the way 2 - get your ecu tuned to ignore the second O2 sensor - Europe spec IIRC

Statix, go to your local autoparts store and ask for spark plug foulers - they'll point you to the right direction. Buy 4 of them, then PM me for instructions. I don't want to post it up here and upset the community. I'm already feeling heat from my other weird mod suggestions. Alternatively you can go on S2000 forums or Evo forums and search spark plug foulers. Either way you should have gone with Milltek headers instead of cat-less headers. cheers

Headers don't drone, it is the catback exhausts that control more or less the amount of drone you get, each one varies, Milltek probably has the least amount of drone of any aftermarket catback.
