Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Is this a typical fault to these cars? The black plastic cover at the base of the windshield (where the wipers rest) is warped. Get really warped under the sun and comes back somewhat when it cools down. Water, dists & leaves get in there - hpefully not leading to other problems. Disappointing ...

POST 2Original post

I would see if they can replace this under warranty. I live in So Ca. and I never experienced this.

POST 3Original post

+1 on this. I don't think this is normal and should be covered under warranty.

POST 4Original post

I noticed the same thing on my Boxster. Just had it replace under warranty last week.
