Hey guys, I've been rocking a Dension Gateway 500s for about 2 years now without any problems whatsoever. I put the car to sleep over the winter and just decided to wake her up. To my utter dismay I now have random reboots/restarts every 30-50 seconds or so when the Dension is active. If I use the bypass mode to turn the system off I lose navigation and the phone module. I pulled the pos apart but I can't get any farther with my trouble shooting. The system used to work so I have no idea whats wrong. I scoured the interwebs but I can't find any information pertaining to my problem. The car is a 2006 Cayman S which I've had for over 3 years. No system updates etc. This just randomly started happening. I would try a system reset since it just started after a long nap. Pull the negative cable from the battery and let the power drain overnight. Hook it back up in the morning. Good Luck

*Bump* Still no results. I've tried the following: Replacing all fuses. Removing DVD from the Navigation unit. Replaced the battery. Shut off and on the dension unit (in off mode navigation is gone, but the unit doesn't reboot). Grateful for any help!

Had the same issue with my 2007 Cayman S with PCM2.1 Eric at Bumper Plugs (Dension distributors) has me load version .57 firmware into my device, it was .60. Seems to work fine now.
