Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Rather than give them the satisfaction of having another go, I have just fitted £2.99 Halford aluminium jobs now.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I went out to wash the car this morning and noticed something odd... one of my centre caps was different to the other 3 :-( now they were all the same as I bought them all new last year... so imagine how disappointing it is to think that a fellow porsche owner must have swithched caps when I was parked up this week... :-(
so now I have one with the shield but no red and three with the shield and red :-(
I'm really disappointed by it so much so that I felt I had to share it with you .....
looks like I'll have see if you can buy just one centre cap then :-( :dont know:
Dawn
Could this be an honest mistake during servicing or tyre work?
It seems rather bizzare.
A dirty rotten stealing thief doesn't usually put one back.
Are you sure you don't need specs? lol
My centers all fell off eventually even after attempts sticking them! costing a lot to replace! A great con from Porsche to make money as it seems very very common!
Wonder why the petson replaced the odd one??!! How bizzarrrrrre!
Hi David, or should I say stranger!
Anyway no I don't need glasses..
They were all there... and now one of them doesn't match... annoying huh?
Well I guess it could have been worse they could have just pinched it and not replaced it but thats not exactly a bonus LOL... so if anyone wants to do a swop ..that would be cool LOL
I have seen this happen to badges before where two of them deteriorated faster then the others. The badges are prone to falling off as well :nooo:
I changed mine for the one piece silver & black badge but I have just been given some Black & silver badge ones which I will fit shortly.
TB
My centre caps were less than 5 months old..they hadn't deteriorated...one of them was stolen and the theif replaced it with a different one... a considerate theif :-( strange but true ....
Someone nicked my porsche crested dust caps! Rather than give them the satisfaction of having another go, I have just fitted £2.99 Halford aluminium jobs now. Did think about putting the Porsche anti theft allen key ones on, but as spiteful as people are, they would probably key the car as they couldn't get them off.
I really wonder how some peoples minds work.......
which is the near side front
I thought I noticed the mis-matched wheel cap when you were parked in the initial queue as we were all waiting to enter the venue, as I walked up the line :?:
Umm I washed it on the Saturday before waddesdon and they were all there then but I shot a wedding Saturday afternoon/evening and there were several porsches there so may be that's where it happened
My other car is a silver1984 W123 coupe a couple of years back we went shopping at Costco and I parked it next to a W123 estate and he nicked my original brass tyre dust caps and replaced them with his plastic ones, can you imagine the low life scum, never did see the car again.
