Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi all. Trying to install soul catted headers on my 2009 Cayman S, and surprisingly the oxygen sensor wires are taking the most time. On the drivers side (bank 2 primary), the blue wire snakes up and to the front of the engine into a clip. I got the wire free from the clip and unplugged, but I cannot fit the plug in the tiny space between the front of the engine and the firewall. Any tips? How have you addressed this? There must be a trick as I don’t see it mentioned anywhere on forums, instructions, or YouTube. My last resort is to try to loosen the sensor from the cat and leave the wire in place, but I’d prefer not to put so much stress on the header bolts for fear of breaking one. Thanks in advance. Anthony
