Hi Guys, Does anybody know the correct part number for a replacement badge for a Boxster Black Edition? Mine has started to come away from the body and having read a few posts the recommendation is to replace the badge rather than re-fix it to the body. I had seen 3M badge adhesive like this which looked good but couldn't find any feedback on it. I have tried to order a badge from OPC and had a look online but my badge looks sharper than the normal 986/987 badge and I can only find the more rounded badges. OPC said the part would come primed and was wondering if anybody knows if this is correct and what paint finish is used to make it look factory. Thanks in advance. Chris

Thanks Trainmasta, I have the part number #987 559 237 06 Inscription Matt Black Lacquered I imagined this would be the right part although it pulls through the Spyder badge even though I have part number #987 559 239 03 for this which I can't understand, this was from page 398 of the manual. Yeah I think it may be a smaller badge unless somebody can confirm they are the same size. It is an S but the S badge although chipped, hasn't come away from the lid.
