Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Following up on my message from last night. Things have gone from good to bad. The dealer in xyz city (shall remain nameless) screwed me over before we were able to get paperwork signed today. I then called Bakersfied (Family Porsche) again to try to nail down a deposit. They finally fessed up that the dealership owner might want to keep the car for himself, hence the reason they didnt take a deposit. That leaves me with one deposit for a GT3 that is close to what I want, except that it has the PCCB which I do not want. If I find a non PCCB car elsewhere, I will cancel this order and let you know then. In the meantime, I am very sorry for the confusion. I thought that I was doing a good dead last night and within the past few hours the whole thing seems to have gotten royally screwed up. -Donn original (now royally screwed up) post follows ---------------------------------------------- After deciding that I had to have a GT3, and finding that my home city dealer had a waiting list of 15 people ahead of me, I decided to try to locate a car in another city. In the end, I found three cars already ordered by dealers in small markets. I have decided to buy one of those cars and will be entering into a contract to buy tomorrow. The other two are still unspoken for. They are July build cars, both silver/black. I am the first and only name on the lists at those two dealers, and I intend to take my name off their lists on Monday. If you are looking for a GT3 and would be interested in one of the two alternates that I have found, please shoot me an email. I will give you the name of the dealer and my contact. (No gimmicks. Just my way of giving back to the forum that helped me in finding a car for myself.) Yours in speed,

Thanks! For some reason you have to go to my profile to find my email address. Then email from there. Strange...

POST 5Original post

donn, i dont get it, you're dropping a july gt3 because it has pccb? you're nuts, to be blunt.

POST 6Original post

Watt, I was going to write the same thing, does that mean he's doubly nuts?. The word I have is that the new allocations for the GT3s will be out in the next week or so. Two dealers have promised me space, so (anyone) private e-mail me if you're really serious about buying the car and promise not to mess with my reputation. The transaction will be between you and the dealer at MSRP.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No, I said IF I find a non PCCB car, THEN I will drop the PCCB car. Otherwise, I don't intend to drop the PCCB car. -Donn
