Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Just then Bruce ran over and thanked me for saving his front fender.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Yesterday I needed to go to Robert Talbott in Carmel on Ocean Ave to pick up some stuff I ordered. Needless to say I parallel parked my car on Ocean. I go into the store, take care of what I needed to do, and I'm walking back to my car. As I get closer to my car I notice a man, perhaps in his late fifties, SITTING on the front fender of my car!
As I approached him I muttered "That's a nice seat you have there sir" at which point he gets up and tells me "Sorry, is this your car"? I responded that it was and he walks away.

What the hell was this guy thinking? I mean, as upset as I was I think I did a good job of keeping my cool. <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" /> What I really wanted to do was grab this schmuck by the neck!
Ok I feel better now...
What are people thinking when they do stuff like that???
A few years ago I helped put on the Beverly Hills Concours. Some extremely nice cars were always on display. This particular year Bruce Canepa had trailered his 959 to the show. This was one of two 959s in the country at this time, the other belonging to Otis Chandler. Anyway the 959 was on display and Bruce wasn't anywhere around, and I see this very "full figured" woman hoist her rear end up on the front fender so her girlfriend can take a picture! I ran over and told her to get off the car. DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOUR SITTING ON??? No....I just wanted my picture taken on a red car! Just then Bruce ran over and thanked me for saving his front fender.
If it doesn't belong to you, Don't touch it, much less SIT ON IT!!!
I have one almost as funny/bad. I went out with a friend who is just as **** if not moreso at the time than I was and his passenger was being dropped off at her place and decided to look for something in her purse, so she put it on the trunk, pulled everything out while tossing it on the paint including the keys. It was funny to watch my friend's face but I would have done the same. Some people are just clueless.
Man....my blood is boiling just reading these stories. This post is too stressful for me. I would have choked the life out of these people. I going to go read a happy post about 'interior pics ' or something.
Leon,
If he had caused damage to my car then I'm sure that legally I would have been protected. Any attorneys or insurance people here to tell us otherwise?
Astounding.....
Happened to me about 30 years ago. This rather loud, brash, overweight woman "creased" my front fender doing one of those background picture shots with my car as a prop. Left me with a psychotic aversion to loud, fat girls ever since.....
