If you open the oil filler flap you can see 2 screws that i think are holding it but the rest looks like its cliped in but i can not move it and dont want to pull to hard and brake it, I dont mean the bit of trim thats seats right behind the fillers its the bit just above them about 3 feet long running n/s to o/s .

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Does anyone know how to remove the bit of trim near the oil/water fillers. The bit of plastic trim with a alloy look that runs from one side of car to the other in the boot (trunk) sitting on top of carpets. Hope you know what i mean, Hope someone can help, Many thanks, Cheers Tim.
