Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Check before you spend' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check before you spend' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. His house is set back by another couple of metres, so the angle is a bit better on his side.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does anyone have any accurate ground clearance measurements for a 996 carrera ? Or some side on blueprints ? I'm trying to work out how much of a problem my drive is going to be. And what i'm going to have to do to fix it
.
The 350Z GT won't go on and has to stay on the road. My Friend's BMW 330ci went on, but we had to put wooden planks down to get it back off. The Vectra doesn't have a problem, neither did the Integra Type-R DC5. I'm pretty sure i'm going to have to do something about levelleing it out a bit, but i'm trying to get an idea of how much.
The 106 you see is my neighbours, and there is currently no boundary between the two drives. I think i'm going to have to put a dwarf wall in and split the 2 to be able to level my side out a bit. He won't be happy as he has a caravan on his side, and has to walk on my side to get his bins out. That doesn;t bother me, but i'm afraid it won;t be possible if i put a wall up.
Here's a couple of photo's to show the problem
. With the lack of a 996 at the moment, i'm going to have to improvise and find something similar to test
.
If you give a rough idea of where in the country you are, you might find someone on here that will drop round and do an actual test for you!
For what its worth my thought is try and avoid the dwarf wall - inconvenient for both of you and you will need to build it entirely on your property if you do it unilaterally, which takes up space. You may even have covenants in your title which prevent you from doing so - worth checking before you spend.
Why not try to agree with your neighbour to do some reshaping on the combined drive? But if you've got a garage at the bottom of that slope you'll also have an angle change to manage there too, so it might all be a challenge.
Cheaper to rent a lock up nearby??!! :?
I too have drive problems.
Have you tried reversing in?
I am unable to drive straight on to my drive, but, if I reverse on and drive off it's ok.
Just a thought!
Thanks. I'm in Manchester M29. The Garage isn't there at the minute, but when it is , it will be at the back of the house, so it should be way levelled out by then. I've also got the problem of going above the DPC on the houses. My neighbours drive is actually better than mine. I think the angle is so steep on my side to get down to the level of the path at the front. His house is set back by another couple of metres, so the angle is a bit better on his side. My neighbour will have no interest in spending any money, but he'd probably let me re-do the whole drive if i wanted to pay for it
I could leave it at My Dad's house which is about a mile away, but i want to be able to drive it whenever i want
. It would also mean moving 5 cars at his house to get it out every time.
Thanks
Andy
I might try reversing the 350z on, never thought about trying it! Allthough it's the sideskirts that scrape rather than the front or back overhangs, so i expect it be the same.
Thanks
Andy
